Haven of Hope Hospital was founded by a group of missionaries in 1955. The hospital is located near Tseung Kwan O New Town. Under the auspices of Haven of Hope Christian Service and the Hospital Authority, the hospital has gradually developed into a 425-bed rehabilitation oriented hospital with a staff of over 600.

The hospital mission is to provide holistic and progressive attitudes through which to witness the Christian gospel; and solemnly care and respect every individual's life, helping patients and their families to face diseases, suffering and even death with dignity and peace.

The Haven of Hope Hospital provides specialized services in pulmonary medicine, geriatrics, palliative (hospice) care and infirmary services.

The hospital's specialist outpatient service focuses on the needs of discharged patients. The clinical services are supported by ten allied health services and a Clinical Diagnostic Unit which provides multiple quality diagnostic procedures.

Dedicated to become a "Hospital without Walls", the hospital's community based services are provided through our Community Geriatric Assessment Team, Community Nursing Centres, Community Physiotherapy Service, Community Occupational Therapy Service and the Palliative Home Care (Hospice Home Care) Team. There are also close collaboration with health service providers and caregivers in the local community.
